HI ALL:
I was thinking what could I do to celebrate Earth Day (besides get a
birthday cake with 4.5 billion candles on it!). Anyway, I thought of book
recycling. I often donate books to a local library, other people and
museums. If you have any books you would like to donate to a NON-profit
organization, I would be happy to "recycle" them for you! Just contact me
off-line for my mailing address and I'll find a new home for them!

Subject: Pyle's Identification Guide part 2
From: Ian Paulsen <birdbooker AT zipcon.net>
Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2008 17:11:07 -0700 (PDT)
HI ALL:
I got this from Peter Pyle:

Peter Pyle and Slate Creek Press would like for me to pass on the
following message:

Part 2 of Identification Guide to North American Birds will likely be
available sometime in September 2008. The base price for Part 2 will
be $49.50, with discounts for multiple copies ranging from 5% (for 2
copies) to 30% (for 12) copies, as is now offered for Part 1 (see
http://www.birdpop.org/pyleguide.htm).
Postage and handling will be extra and will be determined once Part 2
has been released. At the time Part 2 is released we will be raising
the base price of Part 1 from $34.90 to the same $49.50, due to the
increased cost of its most recent reprinting. Discounts for multiple
copies will include any combination of either or both parts. We want
to let the banding community know this ahead of time, so that anyone
who would like to purchase Part 1 before the price increase may do so
before September 2008. See
http://www.birdpop.org/pyleguide.htm
for ordering information.
