northern edge of the area reaching Beltzville State Park and the southern
edge reaching Peace Valley Park in Bucks County. Updates are typically done

Sightings from the NAZARETH QUARRY, Northampton County:
Snow Geese – ~100,000 on 12/18.
Sightings from WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, Northampton County:
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK – 1 on 12/17 (fly-by).
Sightings from BELTZVILLE STATE PARK, Carbon County:
SNOW BUNTINGS – up to ~60 to at least 12/20.
Sightings from PEACE VALLEY PARK, Bucks County:
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE – 1 to at least 12/22
Cackling Geese – up to 6 to at least 12/22
RED-THROATED LOON – 1 to at least 12/20.
Red-breasted Nuthatches continued to be reported from several sites this
A little farther afield, a group of RED CROSSBILLS has been seen in the Owl
Creek Reservoir area along Owl Creek Road, east of Tamaqua in Schuylkill
